Commercial Description:
We invite you to experience our Amber Ale, a beer as beautiful to look at as it is to drink. Our recipe blends our own pale malt base with three specialty malts and the freshest "American" noble hobs. The resulting deep, rich color of Olde Towne Amber Ale means great flavor, leaning toward the malty side with just a hint of hops in the bouquet. Olde Towne Amber Ale is a feast for the eyes, nose and mouth. Tasting is understanding.

A litlte sour. Amber color, and minimal malt in the flavor. Infected, but it kind of works.

"Courtesy" of Brentfreesh. Copper color with no head. Smells like popcorn. Buttery and vinegar taste. Yuk.

Thanks to Badgerben for sharing. Grainy nose with more of that funky sourness. Hazy brown body with an unintentional sourness.

12oz bottle-thanks to Joe/jwc215 and Danner-pours an off white head and amber color. Aroma is medium malt-caramel/somewhat molasses-like, earthy and kind of a weird mix. Taste is medium malt-caramel/somewhat molasses-like, secondary earthy hops, over roasted and kind of a weird mix, maybe a bit smoky. Half way between an amber and rauch.

Froma 12-oz bottle shared by badgerben, pours a light caramel amber brew with a quick dissolving off white head. Aroma has some roasted nut and popcorn with some funky hop scents. Taste is highly carbonated and sour with a high acidic aftertaste. Finish is sour with a touch of vinegar. I believe this beer has been infected. For a slight Flemish style sour, this beer would receive a higher rating, but not as an amber beer.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber color with a small, white head. Aroma similar to cranberry-apple juice. Above-average mouthfeel with a nice amount of carbonation. Tastes like an average amber ale with a taste of cranberry. Pretty average.

The initial appearance is its best feature - a dark Amber beer with a good head of foam. The head dissipates quickly, though and the taste and aroma don’t come close to expectations. It’s a sweet, somewhat malty bee with almost no trace of hops; i couldn’t taste the "hint of hops" the Brewer’s description included. The finish was slightly sweet/bitter and watery. Perhaps the draft isbetter, but this one is not going on priority list.

Draft. This brew is much better off draft than in a bottle. Nice amber color, smell of a caramel or sweet/spice. Not too bad. Good local brew and a hell of alot better than any Miller Lite or Bud Light draft next to it at the bar.
