The head dissipates quickly, though and the taste and aroma don’t come close to expectations. It’s a sweet, somewhat malty bee with almost no trace of hops; i couldn’t taste the "hint of hops" the Brewer’s description included. The finish was slightly sweet/bitter and watery. Perhaps the draft isbetter, but this one is not going on priority list. mcclenw (36), Stevenson, Alabama, USA

Nice amber color, smell of a caramel or sweet/spice. Not too bad. Good local brew and a hell of alot better than any Miller Lite or Bud Light draft next to it at the bar. tanker164 (1), USA does not count | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jan 4, 2007 Great beer....when you get it fresh! Some times you’ll get a skanky sixer but if you can find it on tap its realy good. Don’t be a little bitch and put a damn lime or orange in it either. decaturstevo (2010), decatur, Tennessee, USA

A peculiur aroma that is sort of sour (is that a smell). A light hint of roasted malt that goes to a sour or maybe tart. A watery, fizzy palate. The palate and the flavor remind me of old iced tea with lemon in it. Not very good but I didn’t pour any of it out. JonnyC22 (164), Huntsville, Alabama, USA

Small, fizzy, off-white head. Funky nose with notes of honey. Also plenty of evidence of aldehyde and lactic acid in both the aroma and flavor. Fortunately, I dig "tart." Medium-bodied and astringent with soft carbonation. Bone dry, coarse finish. Keep those tanks and bottles clean down in Huntsville! eaglefan538 (2403), Wilmington, Delaware, USA

I’ve also never had a coffee citrus combo flavor like this one. A sad beer. Poured with a huge head that didn’t lace too well. The aroma was foul, some coffee and chemical aromas. The flavor was coffee and citrus, but not much caramel or any hop presence. Man, do they regulate flavor along with ABV in Alabama? Mouthfeel was acidic and weak, although there was cloudiness present in the body.
