Aroma was of coffee??? Flavor was of coffee and citrus fruits. Mouthfeel was thin yet again. Thanks to eagle for the beer from bama, but won’t drink from there again. "

Small head that tops off an amber body.
Light malt with an undesirable sour aroma. The sourness comes back as an acidic note in the flavor combined with some light sweet malt notes. Light bodied, fizzy carbonation, watery. kramer (2527), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours an amber colored body with a very fleeting thin white head. On the first whiff of this I can tell it’s just loaded with diacetyl. Aroma is somewhat akin to slightly rancid butter. Yep, that’s butter flavor alright. There is some semblence of toasted malt behind all that butter, but nothing there that’s enjoyable. Palate is thin and a little watery with some fizzy carbonation. OK, I drank my 4 ounces of this, hello drain. cmt (12), USA

This is my favorite Olde Towne Beer...been drinking it since the brewery opened. The recipe moved around a bit at first, but settled in last spring.
Nice clear amber/brown color, malty, a little hops, overall a very smooth, easy to drink beer, with little to no aftertaste. You guys need to try this one again...fresh...not after planes, trains and automobiles. leitrim65 (398), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 20, 2006 Dark amber in color with a small white head. Sweet aroma of raisins with a touch of roasted nuts, alcohol, and malt. Watery, a little fizzy, and quite flavorful - just not well balanced. A mish mash of strong raisiny flavors are accompanied by notes of caramel, malt, and roated nuts. One of the oddest ambers I’ve ever tasted. FROTHINGSLOSH (2038), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA

I have never heard of the brewer before. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a chestnut color with a small white head. The aroma is sour tangy vinegar. The flavor is bitter vinegar. I should assume that I had an infected bottle. Otherwise this can only be considered crap. MrManning (1661), London, Ontario, Canada

Dark amber/copper head, with thin beige ring of head. Malted sour grape aroma. Not that great, but not offensive. Cardboard too. Sweet skunky malt flavours, with a sourish flavour. Strange. Fizzy finish, weird cause there was no head. Thanks brad!
