Commercial Description:
We invite you to experience our Amber Ale, a beer as beautiful to look at as it is to drink. Our recipe blends our own pale malt base with three specialty malts and the freshest "American" noble hobs. The resulting deep, rich color of Olde Towne Amber Ale means great flavor, leaning toward the malty side with just a hint of hops in the bouquet. Olde Towne Amber Ale is a feast for the eyes, nose and mouth. Tasting is understanding.

Closer to copper than amber in appearance with a short & fizzy, off-white head. The only words I can muster for the aroma are "weak" and "sour". A flat and sour flavor/presence conclude this unimpressive tasting.

12oz bottle. Deep dark amber color with a rich malt aroma. It carries a nice sweet taste of the malt with a carmel and little hint grain finishing it. For some reason I just really like this one.

12 oz. bottle from the Beer of the Month Club. Pours murky dark red with a tan head and no lacing. Very malty nose with some sweet corn notes. Very sweet malt flavor with no balancing hops. Not that well made.

Bottle. Hazy deep amber color with a thin head. Has a fruity aroma with a slight vinegar aroma. Very heavy and malty, almost too sickly sweet.

not bad at all.. Huntsville is an up and coming city with an up and coming brewery.. they offer draft versio9ns of these at a local joint called Sazios.. a great watering hole.. especially after a hot summer day in North Alabama.

12 oz bottle via trade with beerandblues2 - Thanks Brad! - Pours copper with a short offwhite head that fades pretty quick. Aroma is caramel malts and a touch of brown sugar. Flavor is sweet caramel malts, a bit of honey and brown sugar. Palate is thin and somewhat watery. Somewhat below average mostly because of the palate.

This amber ale pours a brown color from a 12 oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head, which quickly diminishes to a single band of lace around the glass. Aroma is sweet caramel and floral. A light to medium bodied amber ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are … somewhere. For all the world I can’t think of what else to say about this beer, but a ‘below average brew pub amber’”. A touch sweet, a little thin and not much else. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Smells of raisin and flowers. It has a distinct taste, which I did not like- kind of sour and tart. Very flat. It seemed remarkably similar to a different beer from the same brewery.
