| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jul 9, 2007 Thanks to Badgerben for sharing. Vaguelly sour caramel nose with a light brown color and white head. Mouth puckering sour taste with faint grain. I think there might have been an infection or a bad bottle. jcwattsrugger (5333), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 9, 2007 12oz bottle- thanks to Joe/jwc215 and Danner-pours a thin off white head and gold color. Aroma is light/medium malt-butterscotch/English/earthy, fruity. Taste is light/medium malt-butterscotch/English/earthy, fruity, faint hops. Seems like a diactyl/bacteria influence. Drain pour, if its supposed to taste like this, I should score lower still.

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 7, 2007 From a 12-oz bottle shared by badgerben, pours a clear copperish orange brew with a quick dissolving off-white head. Aroma has citrus peel, vinegar and a touch of caramel. Taste is highly carbonated, very acidic and metalic falvor with a sour aftertaste. Finish is sour with more vinegar character. This beer has been infected. For a Flemish style sour brown ale, this beer would receive a higher rating, but not as a heller bock beer. Kevin (1918), Colorado, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 9, 2007 bottle from brent. light copper body with a diminishing head. aroma is very laquerlike, weird cherry scent too. dry wall and caramel flavor. light grape note in the finish. a touch of graininess permeates this. overall a bland lawnmower type of beer. egore (4), Madison, Alabama, USA does not count | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 7, 2007 This beer is better than earlier offerings.
Low amber color with nice head retention. Malty flavor with good overall ballance. Earlier versions were somewhat fruity with a tad of diacetyl. Definitly better that what I tasted earlier. mcclenw (36), Stevenson, Alabama, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 18, 2007 I have only had this on draft. Poured a very nice color, really smooth, a hint of a citrus mix although. All in all this is a pretty good beer from Olde Towne, however it is still not as good as the seasonal Porter they offer.
