Pours a dark copper amber colored brew with a fast dissolving off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, some citrus zest and a hint of pine. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of sweet apricots, caramel malt and a touch of citrus zest. Finish is slightly sweet with a grainy caramel malt aftertaste and a hint of bitterness. A tad light on the hop profile but it still drank pretty good.

No thanks beerhawk ;-P Pours a dark amber with some khaki head. Nose is very sweet, which is in start contrast with the overly bitter finish. Very hot. Not a bad first attempt at a high alc, but still a good bit of room for improvement. decaturstevo (1997), decatur, Tennessee, USA

pours copper, beige head.
aroma hoppy tough not overly hoppy as most DIPA, sweet bubblegum notes.
taste, too malty for the style, bordering a young barley wine.
some hops, fruits, spices adn with age this would totally lose most of the hop profile of a DIPA.
A good try that could be perfected. Tmoney99 (4730), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Poured a clear dark copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration.
My expectations where met with a new high gravity beer. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Glass:Taster.
Appearance:Hazy amber pour with a one finger off white head.
Aroma:Pine and floral hops. Nothing in the way of malt.
Flavor:Caramel malt with a pine sol, astringent finish.
Palate:Medium body with solid carbonation.
Overall:Excellent first stab. Needs some work. The aroma was very muted, and the flavor was a bit harsh.

Red brown in the glass with a creamy off-white that had some lasting a light lace. Nice pine aroma with a backing of malts. The flavor found pine and grapefruit with a light malt undertone. Medium body and medium bitterness in the aftertaste that hangs of for a while. Hopefully this is a good sign of more nice things to start coming out of Alabama. bconley (351), Fern Park, Florida, USA
