On Tap at mellow Mushroom in Huntsville. Dark reddish color. Very citrusy and evergreen smell. Nice hoppy bite mixed caramel malty taste. Really cool. First Alabama rate!!!

Noogfest High 5 sample. The body was dark copper with a yellow khaki head on top. The aroma was sweet peaches with some bread. The taste was bitter grapefruit with some bread crust. There was also a nice almond note in the finish. Good, but not great.

Deep ruby in color with a small white head/ Sharp, tangy, earthy hop aroma. Flavor is earthy and strong: sweet malt and citric bite with a big alcohol presence. Somewhere between a barleywine and a DIPA in style, really, but it’s very tasty. Really enjoyable.

Sampled at Noogfest High 5. Very exciting to see high gravity beer coming from Alabama. It pours an amber color with fluffy beige head. The aroma is excellent with lots of American hops--orange, grapefruit, pine-- and some slight honey and cookie notes. The flavor is fruity with a nice pine bitterness. Some toast lies behind it and some disembodied general bitterness floats around. Pine lasts long after the finish. It’s a good sign if stuff like this starts coming from AL.

Draughts @ J. Clyde. Pours a deep copper with a nice head. Alcohol was dominant in the aroma. I wanted more hops in the flavor....I can buy ASA but not DIPA. Great smooth finish.
