Light clean yellow color, nice light sweet flavor, but seemed a little watery. I didn’t know what to expect from a "extra" pale ale and maybe I still don’t.
Not bad, but not nearly as good as Olde Towne’s other beers. KUEric (632), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 3, 2006 12 oz Bottle: Pours a very light pee like golden yellow. A quickly fading head. A little, but not a lot of carbonation. The aroma is fairly typical of a Pale Ale:floral, hoppy, malts, citrus, bread. The taste was sweet malty and nice. chadzter (94), huntsville, Alabama, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 30, 2006 12oz Bottle. Pour with a bright white fizzy head that disappears quickly. Aroma is a light roasted hops kind of. Flavor is creamy or buttery with toach of hops bitterness. It has a good carbonation to it. This is not my first choice beer but I believe it would make a good party drink. Its a little harsh on the palate but I enjoyed it. kramer (2515), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Dec 13, 2005 12 oz bottle, via trade w/ BeerandBlues2. Pours a clear golden yellow with a quick vanishing fizzy head, generous carbonation. Lightly hoppy aroma, with distinct diacetyl and vegetal notes. Flavor is lightly toasty malt with excessive amounts of diacetyl. Devoid of hops throughout. Very thin and fizzy with a buttery mouthfeel. A definate diacetyl bomb, buttery flavor dominates anything this brewer was trying to acheive. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA

Aroma is grainy with some corn notes. Flavor is very similar. A little bit of hop flavor at the end but not much. Palate is thin watery and somewhat harsh. This isn’t very tasty at all. ericnixon (719), Northampton, Massachusetts, USA

I tend to find it too watery and not enough flavor. It has a light flowery aroma with some mild malty in there. Too watery though. The brewery had made product available to the Rotary Club for charity fund raising.
It was a very pleasant ale and had a "moreish" taste. So I had several more.
Being used to many good ales and beers in Canada and the UK, I was surprised to find such a good one so close to home.
I highly recommend this Ale and will look forward to an opportunity to try the bottled product. Kinz (2215), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Aug 27, 2005 Thanks to Secret Santa Crosling for this chance to sample an Alabama beer! Medium gold, tiny floaties in an otherwise clear beer, little head faded completely. Bready aroma. Bread, a touch of honey, some sourness, and a surprising bite on the tongue considering how little carbonation it appeared to have had. Not very good.
