Bottle... RBSG2006... Hazy yellow ale with a large, fizzy, white head. Citrusy nose with notes of lemon and beef broth. Balanced flavor. No bitterness. No sweetness. Tart ’n’ tangy. Light-bodied and bone dry with mild carbonation. Not real good... and judging by previous scores, it looks like I’m being kind!

12 ounce bottle shared thankfully with many others at the Ratebeer Mondial gathering, 1 Rue de Bieres, tiggmtl. Clark says "bean ale" and thats as good as anything...very light blonde with little head...unpleasant but not quite ruinous vegetal nose...watery, almost uncarbonated...really like flat tonic water, its that dull, though still more drinkable than the amber. Not on the top of my breweries-to-visit list.

Black beans, chick peas and sulfur in the aroma. Hazy pale gold with low white head that recedes immediately to ring. Sulfury, vegetal flavour is unappealing. Watery light body with almost no carbonation. Bottle sampled at the Ratebeer Mondial Gathering 2005.

2005 bottle provided by Dirtymike and Volgon at the Mondial Tasting, 6/4/05
Amber-orange, quite pale at that, with no head and fizzy bubbles on the surface. A lovely navy bean porridge in the nose, baked beans as well. Maybe some ham and definitely some creamed-corn. I’m impressed, I’ve never smelled beans in the aroma, that’s a new one for me. Beans in the flavor as well, just sort of salty, hints of light sugar and veggies all give it a beaniness that is quite revolting, but laughable. Very watery, little to no carbonation, lifeless texture. I assume they are having issues with bottling at this early stage. Will, of course, rerate at a later time.

Cloudy yellow with a hoppy and fruity aroma. Sweet initial flavor and then a little sour. Watery palate.

12oz bottle via trade with beerandblues2 - Thanks Brad! - Pours golden with a short white head that fades pretty fast. Aroma is grainy with some corn notes. Flavor is very similar. A little bit of hop flavor at the end but not much. Palate is thin watery and somewhat harsh. This isn’t very tasty at all.

Bottle: Hazy orange with tiny suspended particles. Light grassy aroma, very watery mouthfeel, with a water-like aftertaste. Starts and ends watery.
