Easy on the palate but pretty watery. May just be old since the brewery burned down. Oh well. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Citrusy flavor with a fair amount of wheat. Out of the bunch, this one had the most promise, but still falls. As JK correctly pointed out, "this is not a half bad Berliner Weisse". Either this bottle was over the hill or there were some major line problems towards the end. Hazy gold pour with whit head. Sour wheat nose with a caramel wheat body with a sourness that overruns the other flavor. Skyview (4057), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 7, 2007 From a 12-oz bottle shared by badgerben, pours a semi-hazy pale golden brew with a quick dissolving off-white head. Aroma has lime and orange peel, vinegar and a touch of pineapple. Taste is highly carbonated, acidic and metalic flavor with a sour aftertaste. Finish is sour with vinegar character. This beer has been infected too. For a Belgian ale, this beer would receive a higher rating, but not as a hefeweizen. Banana and clove scent is good, but not too strong. If you’re a fan of Hefeweizens - try this beer.
