pours dark brown, beige head.
aroma and taste, light malts with hints of chocolate sweetness, overall mouthfeel was weak. Very one dimensional but I can see where they want to take this one.

Jun 8, 2009 Tap @ the 1st Annual Rocket City Brewfest. 08 may 09. Brown color. Aroma of sweet toasted grain. Flavor has a hint of chocolate malts. Way too watery. This is not a stout. Call it a dark brown ale made with chocolate malts. BORING!

May 31, 2009 On tap @ The Nook 04/25/09: Pours black with a medium off-white head that is mostly lasting and has good lacing. Aroma is chocolate with hints of ginger. Has a chocolate/cocoa flavor that is creamy in texture with a medium body. Finishes smooth and dry. Very drinkable!

May 26, 2009 This beer is a work in progress with this being just one step. The flavor has greatly improved over #1. The chocolate flavor comes out nicely, but is not over powering.

May 19, 2009 Draft at the Nook. Dark Brown in the glass with a thin tan head. Subdued aroma of coffee and roast. The flavor found coffee, milk chocolate, and a light roast backing. Light to medium body. Much thinner that #1.
