Commercial Description:
Quickly becoming one of our most popular brews. Olde Towne Pale Ale is a delight to all the senses. Crafting this style of ale requires the use of three specialty malts which provides a rich, full-bodied flavor. This maltiness is carefully balanced by the incorporation of "Cascade" and imported English hops ealy in the boil. This combination of malts and hops creates a complex Pale Ale with a wonderful finish. Beer lovers know that aroma, flavor and the finish are crucial to great pale ale. Olde Towne Pale Ale strives to this to you.

2009 Bottle - Thanks brentfeesh! - Pours a hazy tan with a massive off white head, it dies down a bit so you can pour more in and it foams to the top again immediately...aroma is oily, old grain and dry malt...flavour is mineraly, stale hops, pricky carb, ascorbic bitterness...not too good...

12oz bottle courtesy of ericandersnavy. Had it at Houston RB tasting in October. Pours a cloudy amber with thin white bubbles for head. Nose is of baby powder. Taste is malt, pine and overripe fruit. Mouthfeel is dry and slightly bitter. Pretty weak pale ale.

Bottle courtesy of ericandersnavy. Hazy light orange pour. Smells of play-doh and some sad spices. Mouthfeel is waaaay creamy. Surprising. Taste is of dirty grain. Slightly soured. Not too great.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with brentfeesh. Woot, cross off Alabama on my states list! Pours a hazy orange gold with a moderate linen white head that faded to a film around mid-glass and laced the glass fairly well. Strong aroma of overripe oranges along with some pine resin and malt. The flavor is less intense than the aroma and is more citrus pith bitterness than fruit. Dry, bitter finish. A bit thin and watery as well. Thanks for the AL rate!

Cloudy golden with a tiny white head. Aroma had hops, fruits and honey like notes. Flavour was hoppy and fruity with malty notes as well. Grassy hops finished off.
