Commercial Description:
Quickly becoming one of our most popular brews. Olde Towne Pale Ale is a delight to all the senses. Crafting this style of ale requires the use of three specialty malts which provides a rich, full-bodied flavor. This maltiness is carefully balanced by the incorporation of "Cascade" and imported English hops ealy in the boil. This combination of malts and hops creates a complex Pale Ale with a wonderful finish. Beer lovers know that aroma, flavor and the finish are crucial to great pale ale. Olde Towne Pale Ale strives to this to you.

I really want to like this one. I live 200 feet from the brewery. I tried..... Tastes like aluminum and candy. Unforgivable aftertaste.

Had this one after an afternoon on the golf course. Medium citrus aroma and flavor also little syrupy is what got out of this one. Cloudy orange color with decent white head and carbination was good. Refreshing beer after have to drink those Miller lites on the golf course.

Lively carbonated, dark orange, and murky in appearance. The aroma had strong notes of orange. In particular, the smell of orange candy, like starburst. The flavor did not live up to the appearance and aroma- it was sweet, tangy, and tart- not want I want out of a pale ale.

This pale Ale pours a sparkling orange gold color from a 12 oz bottle. Small white foamy head. Aroma is malty and sweet, with hints of grass and grain. A light to medium bodied pale ale. Malts are fruity and sweet, again with a hint of grass and grain. Hops are citrusy and floral, and very mild for a pale ale. Nice balance. Drinkable, a little thin in the mouth and a bit mild in the hops. Mouthfeel is round and a little thin. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Smells of canned peas or in other words stinks. No head, no lacing. Bright orange color. Tastes like it was poured into a glass that had better beer in it before and is making you wish you were still drinking it... oh wait... Beer of the Month club, what are you doing to me?

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I know conventional "wisdom" would disagree, but conventional wisdom is wrong, again. Great orange pour, with big robust creamy head. Uncomplicated though it may be, it’s flavor profiles of nicely balanced caramel malt sweetness underlaying a lightly bitter citrus hops was very refreshing. I like the sprightly carbonated mouthfeel as well. Brew warmed to an even higher level of drinkability...All in all, a very well done session-type ale.

This brew needs more. It actually smells and tastes much better as it warms, becoming more drinkable. Nice clear pale orange color with a good head... for a while. The aroma is orange and tangerine with caramel malt beneath it. Way too faint, though. The flavor is more of the same, the tangerine taste becoming dominant. It finishes weakly, just a touch of citric fruitiness.
