Big pungent FFF stylie hops oer a big bold malt scaffold. A bit sweet, though the citrusy Amarillo hops (?) reign it in for balance. Creamy small bubbles sort and smooth on the tongue. Bright sweet rich malt and a fitting flavorful citrus Amarillo style hop bite. A bit wheaty? Some substantial alcohol peaks out, but not in a bad way. Lingering hop bitterness. Not a bad IIPA for sure. WeeHeavySD (3016), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

Shared with Bartzilla for Superbowl sunday. Pours orange with a big 3 finger tan head. Nose has some nice big fresh hops in it. Taste is sweet, hoppy and sticky, really damn nice beer. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 3, 2008 Courtesy SoLan by way of jayMFg. Pours a cloudy burnt orange with a small, foamy white head. The aroma is very floral, with a lot of citrus. Grapefruit and juicy hops really are resounding in the nose. The flavor is of pretty big hops expectedly. Good amount of that grapefruit citrus as the hops were more citrus tan pine. The hop bitterness in the finish seemed to be kept under control. I liked the balance and flavor of this brew. Solid job. rlgk (3378), Vårgårda, Sweden

Hazy bronze/golden color. nice lasting offwhite head. Huge hoppy aroma with some creamy and milky notes. Grassy and metallic. Huge hoppy grassy dry flavor, metallic noyes, some fruit, some iron and with creamy notes. Bitter grassy finish, maybe with some alcohol showing. Ibrew2or3 (2766), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Bomber pours with a slight haze and body that is brown-ish orange. The tan head hangs on for a while with weak spotty lacing. Nice classic fruity aroma of grapefruit, orange and pine grassiness. I think I smell wood too. Maybe its just a mix of mild malts and hops. The taste is a brief grapefruit hop bite followed by big pine hop bitterness with a moment of sweet malts and orange candy. It ends a bit slick with medium pine bitterness and mild sweet maltiness. | 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Feb 2, 2008 This one was better than i expected, and i was expecting quite alot. Hazy orange with a creamy baige head. Aroma is intense flowery with lots of citrus and grapefruit along with some sweet orange. Flavor is nicely balanced and therefor not over the top, the sweetness sticks to you lips, an the bitterness sticks to the back of your throat. Awsome gnoff (3573), Göteborg, Sweden

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 1, 2008 10 bottles on discount from Vinoble. Finally I got this beer after years of waiting. A true hardbeater for IIPA newbies. Great and intense aroma of flowers, grapefruit, grass in an background of off-white head and hazyorange look. Flavor is similar added with much sticky sweetness, but it’s okay although the brew can last for more than ½ hour. I like it, but I think I like it better in a year....but I have 9 bottles to go.
