Dec 28, 2007 Bottle and shared with Tom: Sunset hue with a lasting frothy head and very good lace. The aroma has notes of piney and resiny hops, grapefruit and orange rind esters, clove and pepper, caramel and bread malts. The taste is strangely sweet and cardboardy with leafy hops. A bit too sugary for me. Spicy and earthy finish. The mouth feel is syrupy and warming more like barley wine than a IIPA but does fit the flavor profile. An okay brew but too sweet, would have liked to try this as fresh as possible to see if the hops are more forward.

Dec 28, 2007 22oz bottle. Thanks Tim! Candi sugar, honey, bubblegum, light pine, tropical fruit, light orange and lemon. Strong bitterness, somewhat rough. Taste is piney, with tropical fruits, citrus. Very interesting.

Dec 27, 2007 Poured a redish color wiht small head and almost no lacing. Aroma was very much like tea bags and floral. Flavor was the same expected more citrus then i got. Okay at best.

Dec 27, 2007 Bomber from mj; nose of flowery hopsand caramel; clear copper with a medium, glass-lacing straw head; flavor is semi-sweet caramel with light fruit and vanilla notes, finish is minor hop bitterness and light alcohol. Not a hop bomb. Way over balanced.

Dec 27, 2007 Somewhat dark amber hue with a thin cream colored head. Aroma is lightly hoppy with some caramel and floral notes light alcohol. Taste is reasonably sweet with caramel and a firm background hoppiness, some alcohol warming which is pleasant.

Dec 25, 2007 Bottle. Pours a clear, amber-golden with a big off-white/beige head. Sweet floral aroma at first, but quickly becomes a heavy, fruity, malty hop aroma. Big flavour; hoppy and bitter. Floral. As it warms, it becomes more fruity with notes of plums. Bitter finish. Slight notes of licorice. Lingering apple notes. 26-12-07.

Dec 25, 2007 50 cl bottle. Yeast at the bottom. Dark amber colour with a nice stable head. Wonderful aroma of citrus, grapefruit, lime very hoppy and some sweetness. Very hoppy flavour of malt, and a lot of hops. Very nice endeed, long bitter finish. A very balanced beer.
