| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 28, 2008 750 ml bottle. Brown body with a dense off-white head. Complex aroma of sweet malt, caramel, brown sugar, spices and alcohol. Flavor is sweet, light roasted malt, caramel, dry fruit, some alcohol and a hint of cellar notes. Full bodied and extremely well balanced. Actually the balance is so perfect that it’s difficult to sense the flavors after the first sips. Then just getting better and more flavorful for each sip. bb (2930), Martinez, California, USA
