Commercial Description:

English: Pale, dry and lightly bitter. Ølfabrikken American Pale Ale is, of course, unpasteurized, unfiltered and bottle conditioned like all of our beers.

Can at Man in the Moon, Stockholm. Hazy orange, small white head. Quite hoppy with citrus, pine. Refreshing but not too exciting.

On tap at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. A hazy orange beer with a minimal beige head. Citrusy and pine dominates the aroma, but some place has been left in the background for malts and a grainy touch. The same words goes well for the flavor, which is also dominated by the hops, with a nice touch of orange. Full-bodied and almost astringently bitter. Fine bitter finish with orange and generic citrus. Quenching and lovely. (080913)

On tap at EBF 2008, Copenhagen. Hazy gold with a great floral hop aroma. Very dry and fresh tasting. It leaves your mouth very dry. Brings to mind fresh meadows and wildflowers. Great stuff.

On tap @ EBF. Dim, golden body with a small off white head. Nice hoppy aroma of fruity citrus. Flavor is refreshing and light malty with lots of fruit. Nice, light and clean with a crisp bitter finish.

EBF2008. It’s a hazy golden beer with a creamy head. The aroma is fruity and aromatic. The flavour has loads of delicious Simcoe with notes of fruit, spruce and citrus and very light hints of caramel. It ends on a slightly bitter note. A lot of flavour in a relatively low ABV!
