Commercial Description:

English: Pale, dry and lightly bitter. Ølfabrikken American Pale Ale is, of course, unpasteurized, unfiltered and bottle conditioned like all of our beers.

[on tap at EBF 2008] Lots of grapefruit and some pine in the nose with lemony caramel. Hazy orange with a patchy white cover and ring. Dry and bitter flavour in balance with lots of grapefruit and strawberry. Not enough caramel. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, moderately bitter finish.

Tap at EBF, Copenhagen 08. Fragile, white head resting on top of an orange coloured body with a slight haze. Rather rich aromas of fruity hops. Mandarin dominates the taste, supplemented by late, sappy oranges. Fairly dry bitter tail. Very refreshing (13.09.2008).

Draught at EBF08. Grassy and caramelly hop aroma. Cloudy amber colour. Very small white head. Sweetish hop flavour, good clean bitterness. Hint of yeast in the aftertaste.

Tap @ EBF, 2008, Carlsberg.
Pours pale yellow-golden with a small, creamy, white head. Aroma is quite hoppy, chinook and other fruity American hops. Light, but fine, dry mouthfeel. Flavour is good, very hoppy. A bit too light malt base behind it, but still instantly drinkable.
