Commercial Description:

English: Pale, dry and lightly bitter. Ølfabrikken American Pale Ale is, of course, unpasteurized, unfiltered and bottle conditioned like all of our beers.

Draught. Bit hazy golden colour with a medium sized white head leaving a good lacing. Fresh hoppy aroma. Good mouthfeel. Good fresh flavour with hops, a nice bitterness, some fruit and a bit sweet. Fruity and hoppy dry finish.

blindtest. Very nice indeed. Reminds me of a good IPA, long lasting hoppy aftertaste, and solid taste sensations from start to finish. Some sweet tones to the taste, but not very dominat. Great experience.

Draft. An unclear dark golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and very hoppy and grassy. The flavor is sweet grassy and hoppy, leading to a dry bitter finish. The body is thin - I think the final gravity is pretty low. A very good thirst quencher.

From tap at Nadsat, on tap as Ølfabrikken APA, 5%. Pours hazy orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is fruity hops with mild grapefruity and citrusy touch. Flavour follows this closely with a nice caramel malt base providing just enough balance to the the hops. Solid carbonation in the mouthfeel. Quite grapefruit citric flavour into the finish providing a nice dryness. Light brett-infection, or an off-note I would describe as brett :)

(tap at hte brewhouse) Very straight and OK brew here. Ameican hops makes it quite fresh and thirst-killing. The golden, hazyness, with a geen hint, makes it a bit off.

Sampled from draught at Open House at Ølfabrikken.
A hazy golden beer with a greenish glow and a disappearing white head. Sweet buttery and fruity aroma - mild and fresh. Fresh hoppy flavor with bready tones. Good taste with a fine bitterness. Dry.

[Draught] Golden coloured. Very pleasant aroma of fresh hops. Refreshingly hoppy flavour with sweet malty notes underneath. Well balanced and very fresh. Rather dry finish.
