Draught. Deep hazy golden body with a steady creamy off-white head. Aroma is heavy malty, caramel, barley and fruity hops. The flavour has a good balance between the alcohol and the fruity and hoppy notes. lots of caramel malty notes. Creamy and soft texture.

On tap at Plan B. It pours with a hazy red brown body with a dense tan head. Aroma is nutty with notes of dark fruits, plumes and spices. Flavour is sweet with faintly bitter notes, lots of raisins, nuts, caramel and weak notes of anis. Very nice and it really opens up as it heats!

Bottled 25cl (batch #262, BB 10/2012) @Pikkulintu
Deep ruby color, small steady beige head. Malts, molasses, plums, dark fruits, some vanilla in the nose. Still quite sweet, licorice, plums, molasses (caramel), liquerish soft palate. It has just right amount of alcohol in the flavor. As description says, quite English style barley wine. Pleasant.

Small bottle. Aroma has raisin maltiness, dried fruits, caramel, roast, some wine/sherry tones and wood. Hazy, brown coloured with a lasting off-white head. Taste is sweet, bitter and has dried fruitiness, caramel and hoppiness. Bit woody, full bodied. Bit sticky. Good.

25 cl bottle, via Papsoe probably. Pours a beautiful dark amber brown body with a great fluffy light brown head. Amazing retention and lots of heavy lacing. Rich sweet toffee aroma with touches of dried fruits, burnt caramel, a touch of oxidation, very light alcohol, and a bit of resiny hops lingering around a bit. Up front the flavor is very nice, all that toffee and dried fruit opens up with a nice resiny bitterness to balance. The finish is a bit less pleasant though, a little harsh with all the alcohol and there’s more murkiness. Vert late on the finish there’s a bit of papery oxidation that lingers on. Mouthfeel is thick and very creamy for a Barley Wine with perfect soft fizzy carbonation. Not much warmth given how much alcohol flavor there is on the back end. This beer was so close to being amazing. I think that this would have been better either really fresh or really old.

Bottled(250ml). -trade with faroeviking (thanks Jacob).
Dark reddish/brown coloured, medium sized cappuccino head, honey fruity nose. Very sweet, hoppy and dried fruits taste with alcoholic notes that can be felt from the beginning to the finish.
