The aroma is sweet with notes of citrus, dusty hops, prunes, and fruit. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruits shortly followed by the alcohol that gives the beer body, and tickles the tongue. The flavor also contains notes of prunes, wood, and caramel. The finish is dry and alcoholic. Papsoe (15103), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Pours a hazy, dark amber with a creamy, light brown head. Aroma is overripe fruit, oily hops and alcohol. Very full body. Sweetish notes of caramel and overripe fruit and a somewhat medicinal touch. The bitterness is surprisingly subdued - especially considering it being a Ølfabrikken brew. I guess more sorta an English style Barleywine. 171207 yespr (12404), Copenhagen O, Denmark
