This is one hoppy motherfucker. Herbs, pineneedles, sweetness in the aroma. Flavour is herbal and full of pines as well. Is quite balanced for the loads of hops used in this brew. (42 grams pr. liter as far as I remember). Is ful bodied. Mouthffeel is quite dry. Bitterness and fruit is batteling in the end with bitterness as the winner. I really dig this brew. Sweet with aromas of residual sugars, caramel malts, loads of hops and some alcohol, especially in the finish. Also quite bitter, but not ovewhelming. Nice hops vs. caramel balance. Low carbonation. Full bodied. Very nice. elektronikfagtekniker (892), kbh, Denmark

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 22, 2006 An unclear dark orange beer with a bubbly orange head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of oranges, but also vanilla and a nice presence of aroma hops. The flavor is lovely, like a good cup of hop juice, it is quite sweet, but the sweetness is very well balanced of a high bitterness, though I’m a bit surprised that it is not more bitter, considering that it contains 42 grams of hops per liter of beer. The bitter end I really enjoy - is it Chinook? Jeppe (2638), Ølbutikken, Denmark
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 22, 2006 Sampled from draught at Københavnske Øldage 2006. Unclear amber orange color, small off-white head. Aroma is dominating hoppy and fruity but also with a sweet sugary touch from the heavy body - nice and fresh with a good balance. Flavor is orange, lots of hop of course though the bitterness doesn’t shine through that much, it is more grassy hoppy. Full bodied and warming and really nice, still it feels like somthing is missing compared to the top Ølfabrikken brews. Papsoe (15109), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 22, 2006 (On tap) Hazy, orangey brown basically without any head. Lightly hoppy aroma. Very full body with sweetish caramel malt and an extreme bitterness from the aroma hops. Had expected more from this. 190506
