| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 8, 2006 Draught at Plan B, Copenhagen Muddy amber color; big creamy head. Wonderful fruity aroma, having also some grass (I remember my youth years in Como; geranium?) and resins; at the end, a clear aroma of hop pellets. The taste is malty, and the malt is soon overwhelmed by an extreme and aggressive hopping, full of resins. omhper (12218), Stockholm, Sweden

Heavily hoppy aroma of sweaty grapefruit. Sweetish and soft with sufficient malt to carry the onslaught of the hops. Very aromatic and flavourful - all from the hops. Needless to say the finish is California style bitter. madsberg (4964), Søborg, Denmark
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 25, 2006 Draught @ KØ 2006: Orange coloured. Unclear. Small off white head. This is one hoppy motherfucker. Herbs, pineneedles, sweetness in the aroma. Flavour is herbal and full of pines as well. Is quite balanced for the loads of hops used in this brew. (42 grams pr. liter as far as I remember). Is ful bodied. Mouthffeel is quite dry. Bitterness and fruit is batteling in the end with bitterness as the winner. I really dig this brew. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 15, 2006 Hazy to unclear orange/golden beer. Extreme hops aroma, somewhat floral but mostly just "hops". Extremely bitter, not quite balanced. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 31, 2006 Draught. Hazy orange-brown with a white head. The aroma is screaming of hops...crazy, really. Grapefruit, alcohol, yeasty, and some sweetness. It sure is bitter but it somehow remains manageable. Kind of a soapy and caramel underpinning and the finish lingers with a resiny presence. An excellent creation, Christian! Sampled at the Ølfabrikken Brewday on May 19, 2006. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 14, 2006 Bottle. Nose is slightly juicy hop honey and fuesal notes. Flavor is juicy hops, thick. Low carbonation, but still has a really thick body. Slightly tinny, but overall the juicy, toasty hops full of dark oranges and bread flavors work very well. MiP (9080), Sønderborg, Denmark
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 1, 2006 Draught. Very nice, hoppy aroma. Cloudy orange colour, almost no head. The flavour is also very nice and hoppy, and quite peppery. Nice mouthfeel, alcohol seems quite present. Ungstrup (15221), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 22, 2006 An unclear dark orange beer with a bubbly orange head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of oranges, but also vanilla and a nice presence of aroma hops. The flavor is lovely, like a good cup of hop juice, it is quite sweet, but the sweetness is very well balanced of a high bitterness, though I’m a bit surprised that it is not more bitter, considering that it contains 42 grams of hops per liter of beer. The bitter end I really enjoy - is it Chinook?
