Cask, at Olbaren, May 2006. An amber coloured bitter with a very authentic feel. Many overseas brewers (and plenty of UK ones) struggle to get much flavour into a 3.6% beer. Plenty don’t even think its worth trying. No such worries with this beer. The aroma doesn’t leap out but the earthy and tangy bitterness builds on the palate to very tasty effect. The dry hopping is obviously much more generous than most UK examples. Very nicely done

Hazy copper with a cream head. Overwhelming hoppy aroma, with an obvious bitter flavour.

[Cask at Købehavnske Øldage] Clear amber. Aroma of hay and lychee. Orangey, perfumy hops over a light but firm body. Balanced bitterness.

Draught @ Ølfabrikken: Orange coloured. Unclear. Beige head. Herbal, fruity aroma. Is light sweet in the flavour. Herbal and caramelly. Quite smooth and full bodied. Is much more bitter in the end, than the ordinary british bitter, but me like.

Sampled from cask at Københavnske Øldage 2006.
Hazy copper colored with no head. Very English style aroma of hop and fruit and a bit of caramel, nice and fresh. Malty, hoppy and slightly spicy flavor with a good bitterness and a dry mouth. A fine example of an English bitter.

[Cask at Ølbaren, Copenhagen] A hazy amber beer with a nice off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of caramel, citrus, and grapefruit. The flavor is light in the beginning, but then comes the hops with lots of bitterness and a dry toffeeish end combined with some notes of grapefruit. The body is very light - almost watery.
