Wanderer (33), Copenhagen, Denmark Apr 10, 2008 Hazey orange color.Hoopey start malty middle and quite strong alkoholic, smooth aftertaste. Good beer. fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy May 6, 2006 Keg Cloudy amber color. Cheesy malt and hop aroma. Good malty taste, with English hops. Nice English hops. pivo (2535), Germany Apr 30, 2006 Pale amber color, butterscotch nose - uh oh. Caramelly malt with a skosh of smoke. Light bitter. Medium body but an oily feel. Not so good overall. But then again I really don’t like British ales in general much... YogiBeera (2437), Hamburg, Germany Apr 25, 2006 Yeah man! On Draft at PlanB, Copenhagen - thanks Dixen for giving me a sample! Nice malt and toffee nose. Amber colored with a small head on top. Medium hops taste with some malt and caramel - smooth and great. I like this! JorisPPattyn (5155), Antwerpen, Belgium Apr 17, 2006 First retired beer I drink on draught... Hazy amber, small yellowish head. British hops, dry hopped. I seemed to get diacetyl, but gone after the first nosefull. Caramel, no doubt. Dry hoppy with UK hops if I ever had some. Wow, this is just so right - leafy, hoppy, even citrus hops, resiny. Medium bodied, just as it ought to be. Impressed. I wish the British brewers made it that well - as this was on KEG, if you please. LoveCaissa (873), Copenhagen, Denmark Mar 28, 2006 On tap at "Plan B", Copenhagen. Nice British Strong Ale that is surprisingly easy to drink considering the generous amounts of malt and - of course - hops. The alcohol is very well hidden and the hops add hints of pines and citrus along with a dry bitter finish. sunevdj (1764), Copenhagen OE, Denmark Feb 11, 2006 On tap @ Ølbaren. Pours a hazy orange with a tanned head. Ølfabrikken is not afraid of hops... lovely. Slightly sour. Nice CO2 level. Medium- to full bodied. Dry, bitter finish. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark Feb 11, 2006 Tap. Golden orange with white head. Creamy feel amd a lot of hop taste. Nice beer.
