| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 31, 2006 Draught. Dark, murky copper-brown with a large rocky off-white head. The aroma has lots of soapy orange hops which are most definitely pronounced for this style. Caramel softness in a generally smooth body. Flavours are a bit light and there is some wateriness at times. The hop bitterness drops off fairly quickly too.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 30, 2006 Muddy brown with creamy small head. For a brown ale quiet hoppy nose with plenty of malt work. Hop-earthy front, a bit of sharp in the middle. Felt incoherent at time. Low earthy with high alpha doesn’t mix well here. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 16, 2006 Brown body, light brown head; Malty sweet nose, mixed with loads of spicy malt character: loads of walnuts, pine orange, dark chocolate, it has great depth but lacks clarity; Soft body with balance and right amount of carbonation, into a finish that is more acidy then bitter and is actually a bit sour: again with loads of malty nuts, peanuts, a little very dark chocolate and great, great lenght.
