Tilpas humlet til at opveje den nogengange klistrende sødhed der er i Brown Ales, men det er jo hvad man forventer sig. Flot brun farve og god smag. SaintMatty (1236), Tallinn, Estonia

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 18, 2008 Draught @ Ølbaren. Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Clear and somewhat flat looking body with a brown color. Aroma of moderated malt and roasted malt, fruit and a hint of caramel or toffee like notes. Over the palate an again a mix of malty notes with a hint of hops. Toffee, floral, apricot, toasted malt. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and hint of dry texture. Moderated sweet malty assent with a hint of bitterness at the very end. Quit nice. MesandSim (5955), London, Greater London, England

Fantastic aroma that is typical of Ølfabrikken. Chocolate brownies and wheat with that characteristic lick of Scandinavian hoppage. Flavour has all that the aroma has but it doesn’t work quite so well. That said this is still one of the best Brown Ales I have had to date. KnutAlbert (3217), Oslo, Norway
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 18, 2007 Very aromatic beer, way beyond the standard brown ale. Aromatic, sweet, but there are hops, too. Another fine beer from Ølfabrikken. maeib (4768), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 9, 2007 Bottled - Pigs Ear BF. A murky brown coloured beer with an off-white pool for a head. The aroma is nicely hoppy with bready caramel malts. There are more hops in the flavour, together with chocolate and wood. Smooth and tasty and a nice to see beers like this at London beer festivals. harrisoni (6946), Ashford, Kent, England

Good intensity, good malts. Tasty. Just a lovely beer. Good sting on end. Sweetish brown malt is balanced by finishing zing.
