| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 23, 2008 bottle: pours a cloudy reddish brown with a thin off ehite head small lacing. aroma of great citrus hops that do not over power also a mix of erathy pine. behind the hops is a real nice sweet caramel malt that is holding up well against all the hops. the taste starts very faint and doesnt get much stronger. the hops are very nice just a littel lite. the malt cones through more towards the end and just hints of bitterness finish this beer. although nothing is overpowering or big in the flavour it make for a wonderful session pale ale. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 14, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clear, reddish-amber body with a frothy, off-white head.
Smell: Aroma of earthy, spiced citrus with an altogether mild pale maltiness. Unfortunately, there’s not much more to it.
Taste: Pale malts with a brief sugary sweetness. Spiced lemon flavor with a medium, earthy hop bitterness. Finishes fairly dry.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Decent enough for a single hop pale ale. gottalottaibu (243), charlotte, North Carolina, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 27, 2008 50cl bottle, via TheCheeseMan. Pours a slightly cloudy garnet to brown colored body under a nice craggy foamy one inch beige head that retained for the duration as a full covering. The nose is citrusy and piney hops with a good amount of doughy malt backing it up. A fairly strong nose for an APA. The flavor is a little harsh, the hops are moderately bitter, but seem dulled and leafy instead of bright and citrusy. The malt is slightly sweet, but a little tired and bland. The mouthfeel is pretty soft with a good amount of slightly fizzy carbonation. Overall, this was OK, but not one that I’d seek out again. CaptainCougar (5517), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 25, 2008 Pours a transparent deep copper orange with a wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of fresh piny grapefruity hops and sweet pale malts. Body starts with a nice caramel malty sweetness and fairly fresh resiny hop flavor before a bittersweet finish. A very nice APA. faroeviking (6112), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy deep amber-orange colour with a big creamy beige head leaving a good lacing. The aroma is sweet with lots of pine, ripe fruits and flowers. Bit thin mouthfeel. The flavour is a bit mild, compared to the strong aroma, with a pleasant dry bitterness, ripe fruits, pine and hops. Dry hoppy well lasting finish.
