| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 27, 2007 Clear, reddish amber body. Large, foamy, off-white head sticks around for a good while, eventually settling to a thin film. Sticky spider-web ribbons of lacing coat the glass well. The aroma is significantly more substantial than I am used to in an American Pale. A hefty dose of pine resin and grapefruit hops spring forward from the rich, toasted caramel malt base. The flavor is nearly identical, and equally surprising. Ample pine and citrus balance out sweet caramel and toasted grains almost perfectly. Mildly peppery spice adds a nice touch of complexity. Medium bodied and smooth, moving to a short, dry, hoppy finish. Very easy drinking at 5%. Could easily pass for an IPA. Nothing groundbreaking here, but very well crafted and enjoyable. juiceisloose (671), Windermere, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 26, 2007 Courtesy mgumby10, thanks Mike. Poured a amber color with small tan head. It smelled of citrus fruits, grapefruit, some hops, and a hint of malt. The flavor was big of citrus fruits and hops with some caramel malt sweetness in the background. The piney hops were dominant throughout the taste. The malt sweetness seemed to balance it well and was very easy to drink. It had a pretty good flavor and finished with a nice dry hop bitterness to it. I enjoyed this one. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 26, 2007 Pours a fairly clear amber color with a medium light tan head. Smells of juicy citrus hops, some grapefruit, other citrus fruits as well. The flavor has a good amount of bitterness, but very fruity as well. The hops were certainly the biggest flavor, and they lingered in the aftertaste nicely, but has a nice balance to it. Very drinkable, with pretty good flavor for the style. Not bad. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 7, 2007 Dark coppery colored, slightly hazy appearance. Medium sized yellow head. Rich hopped and fruity aroma, mild toffee also there. Medium bodied. Flavor is even more hopped with good fruits and caramel. Aftertaste dries with some lemon. Smooth and soft palated, still crispy hopped aftertaste. harrisoni (6798), Ashford, Kent, England

Bottle at LCRBM3. Lovely abmber colour with a slim white head. Amazing hoppyness. Like a double IPA, impressive for the abv. Lovely citric fruitiness. Grassy hops typical of Olfabrikken. Jolly tasty. JorisPPattyn (5171), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 10, 2007 Golden-amber, no head left. Sharp USA hops, but nice, nose ending with muscat grape aroma. Sweet, more than expected: hops give aroma, but virtually no bitterness, flowery. Very slick, near sticky MF; light body, but nowhere empty. Nice beer, an IPA that is not overimposing.
