The aroma is perfumey and has orange notes and spice. Flavour is fairly bland - grainy malt and very mild perfumey hops. A touch of citric fruitiness I suppose and it does have some creamy maltiness. Significantly better than other cream ales but the style still continues to leave me dumbfounded.
This is probably the weakest of their entire line-up though I’m still convinced that it’s because of the constraints of the style. Sampled at the Ølfabrikken Brewday on May 19, 2006. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England

I’ll be the first to admit that i don’t know what a cream ale should really taste like, the ones i have had in the US were very bland. This was far from bland. Very pleasant, light hoppy ale, with some fruity notes of lychee, grapefruit and melon. This was pleasant drinking. omhper (12246), Stockholm, Sweden

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 12, 2006 Cloudy yellow with disapperaing white head. It smells like the average ølfabrikken beer- but this isnt up there with the best. Smooth and soft when enters the mouth and of course hoppy. But this is like a light version. You doesnt get the same power in this as in a lot of the others. a bit disappointing! Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Apr 5, 2006 A hazy orange beer with a huge white head. The aroma is quite hoppy - surprisingly hoppy for a cream ale, the hops gives it reminisence of grapefruit. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of hops and grapefruit, but still very light which makes it very easily drinkable. A nice thirst quencher. The mouthfeel is quite carbonated. The after taste lingers for a very long time with notes of grapefruit.
