Commercial Description:
English: Ølfabrikken Cream Ale is a nice little thirst quencher brewed with a big quantity oatmeal, which combined with very light carbonation provides the ale with a extra smooth texture. The hops are American Amarillo that leave a fresh, crisp bitterness and notes of ripe abricot. Ølfabrikken Cream Ale is, of course, unpasteurized, unfiltered and bottle conditioned like all of our beers.

Clear yellow color with a small fading head. Very bitter and hoppy aroma. Smooth and dry flavor of hops and well carbonated. Doesn’t leave that much on the palate but some hoppy notes are still there. Drinkable and a better alternative to the everyday lager.

Draught at Helsinki Beer Festival 2007. Slightly hazy pale golden color. Flowery american hop aroma with notes of mango, wheat and honey. Refreshing grainy and hoppy flavor with mango, lemon and grapefruit.

(Draught at Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen, 2 Aug) Golden yellow colour, "peach orange" as a friend said, creamy white head. Fruity nose with apricots and mandarin. Fruity taste with notes of apricots, mandarin and grassy hops in the finish. Thirst quenching and easy to drink with a nice hop character.

cloudy yellow, wispy white head, stinky citrus hop aroma with a light malt base, hot fruity flavor, malty sweetness balanced with lots of tart citrus hops, just not a good flavor combination between the malt and hops,

250ml draught. Served lightly chilled at Plan B, Copenhagen. Slightly unclear, light brown body. Good white head retention. Discreet aroma with inviting floweriness of hops. Spicy flavour mixed with sweet citrus fruits and hops. Prolonged bitter aftertaste. Creamy mouthfeel. Medium bodied (01.08.2007).

Bottle (SOPP2007, Helsinki) Lager colour, almost no head. Wheaty lagery aroma, some citrhs initialy. Taste is a great summer drink, but not a cream ale - where’s the ale? Where’s the cream?

Draft. Creamy but no head and that is a killer for a cream ale. flat as a pancake, chill haze, did taste good.
