Commercial Description:
English: Ølfabrikken Cream Ale is a nice little thirst quencher brewed with a big quantity oatmeal, which combined with very light carbonation provides the ale with a extra smooth texture. The hops are American Amarillo that leave a fresh, crisp bitterness and notes of ripe abricot. Ølfabrikken Cream Ale is, of course, unpasteurized, unfiltered and bottle conditioned like all of our beers.

(Draught) Pours hazy apricot-ish colour. Juicy fruits and citrus in aroma with undertones of flowery, light piny hops and a touch of grain.Pasion fruit, mango grapefruit and apricot are present. Fruity flavour with some hints of passion fruit ice cream. A light touch of flowery bitterness. Tiny hints of salt in the medium dry finish. Vell carbonated, light to medium body.

Draught. Weak, teaish aroma. Cloudy yellow/orange colour, small white head. The flavour is tea-like, but mild and quite drinkable. Low carbonation and creamy mouthfeel.

My first cream ale, so bear over with me.... The nose is filled with oats, yeast and citrusy hops. The same goest for the taste, thats quite dry and refreshing. It shows a bit too much yeast character, but mayby it’s because of poor handling...

Warm golden, slightly hazy, nice big head. The aroma is hoppy with notes of caramel. The flavour is smooth, creamy and mild with notes of fruit and a hint of vanilla, roasted malt, and the finish is rather dry with a mild citrus note. Easy to drink.

Hazy blond color. Nice creamy hoppy aroma. Medium body, dry mouthfeel, some toffee flavor, strong bitterness (hop cones, a bit grassy and resiny). But the final is too thin.

Cloudy golden color with a huge head. Initially the aroma is hoppy and fruity, later it shows some yeast. Medium body, malty, with an interesting fruitness (sweet oranges) and residual sweetness.

Boring. Cream? Why cream? I find it ordinary, perhaps a bit thin palate. Faint bitter flavor. Perhaps grassy notes.
