gunnfryd (3539), Kristiansand, Norway May 1, 2007 Bottle. Red brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is hop, caramel, roasted. Flavour is hop, chocolate, roasted, malt, caramel. Nice drinkable beer. yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Apr 26, 2007 Bottle. It looks clear, copper color and a small, beige head. Chocolate, mocha and some coffee in the aroma. Malty flavor, balanced by a nice hop-level, but maybe a bit sweet. Medium body and a balanced finish with a pronounced maltyness and hoppiness and some caramel-like notes. A really nice one considering the low ABV. (070413) Maria (6056), Thisted, Denmark Feb 1, 2007 Muddy brown, dark mahogany. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and yeast. The flavour is slightly sweet with notes of caramel and roasted malt, and the body is quite full. MPA (478), Nørrebro(formerly Aalborg), Denmark Dec 2, 2006 Bottle. Hazy brown with a shortlived off white head. Sweet caramel along with fresh hops gives an amazing aroma. Flavour of tobacco, licorice and hops. Delicous beer! Enjoyit (1695), Vadum, Denmark Oct 10, 2006 Brown and hasy of color. Nice fresh hopy aroma a la Pale Ale. Toffee and choko ind the taste. Did MPA sweat in my beer? smells like that... Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 1, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Pours a slightly hazy orangey brown with an off-white head. Becomes extremely muddy as you reach the yeast sediment. Discreet aroma of roasted malt. Fairly light body with flavours of coffee and lightly burned malts. Discreet underlying sweetness. A light bitterness in the finish from the burned malts. Very quaffable. 300906 LoveCaissa (873), Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 11, 2006 Confusing or at least untraditional style as the hopping is clearly American. Nonetheless, a nice and pleasant ale with a fine balance. anders37 (4516), Malmö, Sweden Jul 2, 2006 Bottle. Pours a hazy brown colour with a tan head. Roasted malty chocolate aroma. Smooth roasted malty flavor with some hints of chocolate. Has a nice roasted malty finish. A little fin though.
