Commercial Description:
ØLFABRIKKEN DARK MILD is our march experimental ale and our interpretation of the British worker's favourite ale. Dark Mild is unusually complex for a beer with such modest alcohol content. It is a bit hoppier than traditional milds and as such more refreshing. The malt profile is adjusted with a pinch of molasses sugar, providing notes of dark rum. Ølfabrikken Dark Mild is, of course, unpasteurized, unfiltered and bottle conditioned like all of our beers.

Bottle. Dark brown with minimal head. I think I could recognise most ølfabrikken-beers by a full flavor, plenty of hops, little unclean with notes of leather (and perhaps some herbs)- this has ølfabrikken written all over it imo. Sourish edge to it. Pleasent enough.

Bottle. Strange beer. Fair off-white head. Brown unclear colour. Roasted/chocolate aroma, and very bitter/acetic flavor. Powerfull long finish, but its not that good. A liitle flat. Far too expensive!
