HomerSlottved (29), Copenhagen, Denmark Oct 31, 2009 Got to rate this since it was served from the very last keg af CSAs tasting. Not much to look at being unclear and brown with no head. But the berry flavour and the sweet and lightly sour taste combined with a smoothness the totally disguised al booze was heavenly! Appearance: dark murky brown , amber light top. Nose: True earthy aromas , brown dark malt , neatly balanced with true raspberry feel. Honest solid nose.8- Flavor/Palate : Mid light bodied. Shot of vodka , straight organic berry feel. Very smooth , drinkable for its strength fruit brew.
Sammy (3934), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 2, 2009 Wonderful bottle sent by Svend Nyman, bottle shop owner in Denmark. Aroma of real raspberry and some booziness. Great raspberry colour. A tad sour, above average mouthfeel. Some woodiness in finish. Rich and alcohol, natural carbonation. Something special and ageing could not have hurt. stobbe74 (655), Denmark May 18, 2009 Sampled at DØE Beerfestival 2007, Valby. Pours a brown beer (reddish) with a small beige head. The aroma is raspberry with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with lots of raspberries. The palate is fresh with notes of alkohol. Overall a good beer, but not my favorite beerstyle.
