Nice bordeaux red colour, but the head dissapears a little quick. The aroma is a huge amount of raspberries and an easy amount of alcohol. Nice balanced raspberry taste, not as obvious, undistinct or artificial as in many other fruit brews. Incredible hidden alcohol when thinking about it has an ABV of 13%. The alcohol makes the sourness more indistinct and contributes to a more natural raspberry taste. Not the best body for a 13% beer, but the best fruit beer I have had. Still not worth 96 kr, though. Nice raspberry aroma, very powerful. Cloudy prune colour. Nice raspberry flavour, with berry bitterness. Nicely balanced. The beer seems to have a good alcohol balance, since I cannot taste the extreme level of alcohol. Skinnyviking (4170), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 29, 2006 Bottle. Light brown relatively small but lasting head. Hazy dark red body. Sweet and distinct raspberry aroma. Raspberry flavor of course but of raspberries both sweetness and a bit of dry bitterness. As far as I remember raspberries taste like that when they are very ripe and just before they rot. Not unpleasant though. Actually I think the high alcohol contents contribute to adding to the similarity to real raspberries. Jeppe (2638), Ølbutikken, Denmark
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 29, 2006 Pours deep brown with almost no head. Rather heavy fruity aroma with a roasted malty note. Mostly sweet with an edvident alcohol tone that makes it remind me of some kind of fruit liquor.
Flavor is sweet malt and raspberry again with a tone of alcohol that warms when it slides down. Spices and cake notes in there as well. Strange mouthfeel, first it is almost completely flat, second it has this dusty dryness that feels rugged on my tongue and kills the aftertaste. It almost feels like having dirt in your mouth.
An interesting project, but the balance is just not there plus the alcohol is too evident.
Probably one of the beers from Ølfabrikken I had expected the most from, but also the one that dissapointed me most. Papsoe (15103), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Extremely marked raspberry aroma. Quite full-bodied, sweet with extreme raspberry flavours. Tart, alcoholic with a fairly discreet bitterness. A very interesting fruit beer. 281006 ThomasE (5178), Copenhagen, Denmark
