Oct 31, 2006 A hazy red beer with a bubbly light brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of malt and over ripe fruit. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of over ripe fruits, combined with light metallic notes from the alcohol, leading to a fruity end.

Nov 22, 2006 (On tap) Slightly cloudy orangey brown with a small, off-white head. Extremely marked raspberry aroma. Quite full-bodied, sweet with extreme raspberry flavours. Tart, alcoholic with a fairly discreet bitterness. A very interesting fruit beer. 281006

May 14, 2007 Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2007. Hazy brownish amber. Aroma of red currant and lingonberries. Sweet with tart red currant flavour. Surprisingly slim body, with some dense caramel under lying underneath the vinous berry fkavour. Finishes with low bitterness. Unusual. A beer to love or to hate.

Jan 3, 2007 Updated: Aug 26, 200750 cL bottle. Pours deep amber with short lasting white/brown head. Aroma is very dominated by raspberry with some caramel notes. Taste is strange at the first sip, seems totally out of balance between the raspberry and caramel malt - but it is improved along the way - alcohol is extremely well hidden. Caramel out and raspberry on it’s own would be the traditional way to make this kind of lambic - but it works in it’s own way. Too expensive by the way. Bitterness in the finish is clearly from raspberry alone.
From tap at Ølbaren at Jannik and Bagers afskedsreception: clearly more balanced and soft after 2 years. There is a very minor note of both liqourice and sulphor, but most noticeable is that the raspberry taste that has become quite softly blended with the caramel flavour. Ver nice.

Aroma is heavy fruity, raspberry, sugar, moderate malty and yeasty. Flavor is moderate to heavy fruity sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Alcohol is not very clear. 230407 4/7/3/12 - Second bottle th. 240407 was better 7/4/8/3/16

Dec 4, 2006 Bottle. A 13% fruit beer, among friends also known as "Date rape beer". Nice raspberry aroma, very powerful. Cloudy prune colour. Nice raspberry flavour, with berry bitterness. Nicely balanced. The beer seems to have a good alcohol balance, since I cannot taste the extreme level of alcohol.

Aug 6, 2007 Hazy dark amber color with mahogany and ruby hue; just a few bubbles on the surface. The aroma is malty, sweet, with a hint of fruits. Quite thick body, with very sweet liquorice as a result of the caramel and fruits (try to imagine it). Not bad, but I’m not a big fan of fruits in beer.
