Commercial Description:
Our Autumn Brew is a dark and malty ale with four different caramel malts combined into a rich and slightly sweet malt profile. Aromatic Czech Saazer hops supplements the fruitness from the yeast.

Enjoy it at 10-12 degrees Celcius with roasted, salted chestnuts with butter on one of those wet, cold and dark Scandinavian autumn afternoons.

Pours cloudy brown with a creamy off-white/yellow head. Sour, spicy, dry, musky aroma, a bit like composted soil. Interesting flavour, based around a mild tartness, apricots and earth come through too. Dry, sour finish... Nothing like I was expecting, and very very enjoyable.

Pours light amber with big off white head. Yeasty aroma with tones of elderberries, cranberries, some biscuit. Quite sour with cranberry features - Complex aftertaste with the fruity yeast coming through along with spices and a bitter hoppy finish.

Hazy dark red/brown with a small, lasting light brown head. Malty aroma with caramel, tobacco, biscuit, butterscotch. Dry, rich flavour with fruits and nuts and enough hops. Very interesting and unique.

Complex aroma with citrus, grass, hay, white pepper, tobacco, hops and a little alcohol. Quite fruity aroma too, which reminds me a little of an IPA. The taste is also good, but dissapoints a little compared to the aroma, I think. It is malty with some tobacco and citrus notes, and the whole way through marked by an obvious amount of bitter hops. This beer has a medium body, and an attractive bitter eftertaste with some malts. The most amazing about it is the aroma, though.

Bottle. Tasting session with omhper and ante
Coffe and sharp spices. Slightly thin body. Plenty of bitterness and a touch of DMS. Abrasive (knottrig) feeling (don’t ask).

Bottled at Söderbärke Mikroölfestival. Dark brown, creamy beige head. Aroma of cherry and hay. Medium bodiied with too clean mouthfeel. Hop driven and a fantastic black currant flavour and lingering bitterness.
Old rating March 2006: Bottled. Hazily ruby, small dense head. Dryish with fruity plum flavour. Disappointingly streamlined with clean hard mouthfeel. Notes of cherry brandy before a salty somewhat harsh finish. 7/4/6/2/11
