The aroma has strong notes of caramel and toffee, and lesser notes of hops, and lemon. The flavor is lovely sweet with a good complex malt flavor, containing notes of caramel, slightly burnt, as well as hints of berries, leading to a dry slightly bitter end. The mouthfeel is very smooth. Papsoe (15103), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Hoppy, spicy nose (no spices added though). Surprisingly light body considering the alcohol with a sweet caramelish maltiness and some very distinct aromahops. Ølfabrikken experiments a lot - this is supposed to be a top-fermented Bock! Very interesting and well made. 041005 yespr (12345), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 8, 2007 50 cL bottle. Pours amber with huge light brown/yellow head. Aroma is slight flowery and yeasty. Mouthfeel is round and soft. Taste is very flowery hoppy with sweet caramel beneath. This bottle was 1 month to BBD (1st of April) and had a distinct citric/sour note to it which ruines the overall experience. Dry bitter finish. omhper (12247), Stockholm, Sweden

Aroma of cherry and hay. Medium bodiied with too clean mouthfeel. Hop driven and a fantastic black currant flavour and lingering bitterness.
Old rating March 2006: Bottled. Hazily ruby, small dense head. Dryish with fruity plum flavour. Disappointingly streamlined with clean hard mouthfeel. Notes of cherry brandy before a salty somewhat harsh finish. 7/4/6/2/11 fonefan (11822), VestJylland, Denmark

Strong aroma of caramel, of dry wood, of hay and cereals. Good body strength, with some malt flavor, some sweetness, caramel; maybe too much cereals taste. Reasonably bitter, with also some nice hidden aromatic hop. Controversial.
