Commercial Description:
Our Autumn Brew is a dark and malty ale with four different caramel malts combined into a rich and slightly sweet malt profile. Aromatic Czech Saazer hops supplements the fruitness from the yeast.

Enjoy it at 10-12 degrees Celcius with roasted, salted chestnuts with butter on one of those wet, cold and dark Scandinavian autumn afternoons.

An unclear red-amber beer with a nice dense brown head. The aroma has strong notes of caramel and toffee, and lesser notes of hops, and lemon. The flavor is lovely sweet with a good complex malt flavor, containing notes of caramel, slightly burnt, as well as hints of berries, leading to a dry slightly bitter end. The mouthfeel is very smooth.

(On tap) Hazy greyish brown with a small, creamy beige coloured head. Hoppy, spicy nose (no spices added though). Surprisingly light body considering the alcohol with a sweet caramelish maltiness and some very distinct aromahops. Ølfabrikken experiments a lot - this is supposed to be a top-fermented Bock! Very interesting and well made. 041005

50 cL bottle. Pours amber with huge light brown/yellow head. Aroma is slight flowery and yeasty. Mouthfeel is round and soft. Taste is very flowery hoppy with sweet caramel beneath. This bottle was 1 month to BBD (1st of April) and had a distinct citric/sour note to it which ruines the overall experience. Dry bitter finish.

Bottled at Söderbärke Mikroölfestival. Dark brown, creamy beige head. Aroma of cherry and hay. Medium bodiied with too clean mouthfeel. Hop driven and a fantastic black currant flavour and lingering bitterness.
Old rating March 2006: Bottled. Hazily ruby, small dense head. Dryish with fruity plum flavour. Disappointingly streamlined with clean hard mouthfeel. Notes of cherry brandy before a salty somewhat harsh finish. 7/4/6/2/11

Bottle. Clear light red / amber color with a average frothy to creamy off-white good lacing head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy and yesty, fruit, prune. Initial flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter, salty. finish flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter, salty with a average to long duration. Not in a good balance like bleend of ale from UK and a hoppy pils form CZ !! Body is ligth to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, 6.5%. 4 months past BB date. Nice hop aroma, slightly teaish and quite malty, dusty and roasted. Hazy dark red/brown colour. Stable, creamy, light brown head. The flavour is quite roasted and a little sweet with a touch of tartness. Also creamy, bordering on buttery. Late roasted aftertaste with a little alcohol. Full mouthfeel.

Draught at Globen. Hazy brown coloured with a medium sized off white head. Aroma of malts and caramel with notes of fruits and butterscotch. Nice malty flavour of malts, caramel and hops with fruity notes. Well balanced.

Draught at Plan B, Copenhagen
Cloudy red-mahogany color. Strong aroma of caramel, of dry wood, of hay and cereals. Good body strength, with some malt flavor, some sweetness, caramel; maybe too much cereals taste. Reasonably bitter, with also some nice hidden aromatic hop. Controversial.
