| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 23, 2008 Bottle. An almost clear, brown beer with a small, off-white head. Quite weak aroma with some roasted malt and caramel. Weak on the flavor too, even for a mild, with caramel, roasted malt, a little bitterness, and some cooked vegetables. Roasted finish with a little bitterness. Medium body. A rather boring beer, at least if you’re only having one, but I guess it would be boring as a session beer too.
