Commercial Description:
A light, but nonetheless malty blond ale with subdued bitterness and discrete spicing. Brewed for the danish spring. Ølfabrikken Forår is, of course, unpasteurized, unfiltered and bottle conditioned like all of our beers.

From 50cl, enjoyed with Immy. Golden pour with active, fluffy head. Hoppy tangerines, yeasty spices and orange syrup in the nose. Flavor follows but a little bit lighter, with a spicy, bitter finish. Palate is smooth and drinkable.

50cl swingtop right from the brewery (not even a label) courtesy of my Danish Summer Secret Santa, sunevdj. Thanks SUNE!!! #700, beotches! Clear gold with a big off white head. Nice spicy nose, touches of ginger and cinnamon, yeasty. Flavors follow the nose to create a wonderful spicy BSA- I feel this is underrated! Lovely soft mouthfeel. Excellent!

Strong floral, perfumey, lavender aroma with plenty of cake-like yeast and some hints of alcohol. Opaque yellow straw coloured body with dense and lasting cover of white head. Floral, lavender, spicy, perfumey hops over a sugary sweet malt base. Light body with soft but lively carbonation that engages the tongue and awakens the tastebuds. Bottle sampled at RBESG 2005.

Bottled. Hazy golden with a low white head. Teasty, bready and spicy aroma with touches of sweet oranges, mango and biscuit. Smooth warming flavour which starts rather sweet of oranges, nectarines and pepper. Finish is drier and more airy of grass, minerals and white pepper. Dangerously drinkable.

Draught
Cloudy blond color; huge creamy head. The aroma is earthy, flowery and a bit herbal. Sweet, quite malty, with a yeasty mellow fruitness. Smooth. Not enough hops, but enjoyable.

Pours muddy yellow with limited head. Aroma of banana, spices and other flowery aromas. Quite good body, taste is quite sophisticated with tones of flowers, some malts and limited hoppyness.

Bottle, RBESG 2005, Grand Tasting. Cloudy golden colour. Elderflower aroma. Refreshing elderflower and cloves (also coriander?) flavour. The high ABV is well hidden.

Cloudy yellow colour with a huge white head. Sweet and fruity aroma with hints of yeast. Flavour is sweet too with lots of pale malt and medium bitter finish. A smooth and enjoyable Belgian ale but in the long run it is a bit too sweet.
