Commercial Description:
A dark and cold morning in the winter of 2007 Anders Kissmeyer from Nørrebro bryghus fired up his little smoke oven and started the slow and cumbersome process of preparing the malt for his guest brew on Ølfabrikken. The result of the many hours of hard work in smoke and ice cold winds is in this bottle. It is a brewed with the traditional London Porter in mind, but with a unmistakable Scandinavian twist, with its strong notes of elder-wood smoke. Ølfabrikken Anders Røgporter is of course unfiltered, unpasteurized and refermented in the bottle or keg like all of our beers.

Pitch black, small brown head. Strong rauchbier-like aroma, impressive. Sweet roasted smoked malty flavour. Lasting bitter finish. This porter tastes like a rauchbier. Good!

Bottled. Dark brown, almost black with a low light-brown head. Really smokey aroma of ham, , burnt wood, tar, dark malts and ropes. Creamy flavour os salty licorice, bacon, smoke and tar. Long finish of tar, ham and smoke.

Bottle. A black beer with a small beige head. The aroma remind me of Limfjords porter, just a bit more smoke. The taste is even more smoke, a bit to much for my taste.

Dark black color, short head. Aroma is smoked, bacon, roasted malt. Dry taste, smoked, some chocolat and coffee. Dry smoky palate. More a smoked style than a porter in my opinion, but nevertheless very very tasty.

Bottle.50cl. Sweet aroma with a lot of smoke, and it comes back in the taste, a good Smokebeer, in all senses. but the smoke is a bit strong.

Pitch black with creamy off white head. Strong roast aroma. Medium bodied. Taste is powerfull smokey. Light chocolate - other than that this is like Bacon straight up. Way too much smoke for me personally.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Grovlam. Hazy, dark brown with a light brown head. Distinct, baconish aroma. Medium body with roasted and burned malt accents - and again this distinct smoke flavour. There’s some hard to define accents of detergent. The finish is dry - and full of smoke... 090507
