Tydeligt røget, uden at det er dominerende. Ved første møde skuffede den - men voksede med opgaven. Det sædvanlig stoutske - med peat oveni hatten. Let syrlig finish?

Bottle. Black coloured with a fast disappearing beige ehad. Roasted aroma of caramel with notes of liquorice and alcohol. Roasted flavour of caramel and liquorice with notes of chocolate, peat and hops. Dry roasted finish.

Bottle. 75cl. Clear dark black color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt, notes of smoke. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter (malt bitter) with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (100308)

Black with red highlights. Medium sized light brown head. Chocolate dominates the aroma, which also has some smoke. Sweet and roast flavour with some charcoal in the finish. The smoke and charcoal doesn’t really come together for me.

Bottle, 75cl. The beer pours very dark burgundy. The head is beige. The aroma is roasted malts with notes of smoke. The flavor is roasted malts with smoke, has notes of licorice and coffee. Nice palate and overall an average beer.

Den er rigtig god, men den mangler desværre noget fylde og fedme og måtte gerne være lidt olieret, så ville det ringe.
