cellar (483), Dublin, Ireland Jul 11, 2008 clear amber with nice white head, aroma of ripe fruit flowers and malt, some hops develops in mouth. Starts sweet and bitter finish. KimJohansen (6676), Copenhagen V, Denmark May 4, 2008 Deep golden with medium white head. Sweet and fruity flavor with grapefruit, hops and caramel notes. Ends with godd bitterness. yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Apr 27, 2008 Bottle. It pours a hazy, orange-golden with a nice, off-white head. Pinecones, citrus, peach and resin on the nose, some maltyness detected too, but not much. Doesn’t matter though, it smells delicious. The flavor followes the same path, but has more malty sweetness, giving it nice balance, still it’s not in the same league as the aroma. The finish is a long one, getting better and better, before it slowly fades. It’s a lovely beer, but it feels a bit one-dimentional after a while, but I wouldn’t be sad if I had regular access to it. (080305) gunnfryd (3539), Kristiansand, Norway Apr 27, 2008 Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is citrus, pine, hop. Flavour is citrus, grapefruit, pine, hop. Nice beer.. Plimmer (251), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 22, 2008 Bottle 50cl. Deep amber colored slightly hazy body with a large dense head. Very fruity nose with lots of hops. Nice bitter flavour with lots of hops and citrus. A nice beer after my taste! thewolf (5635), Kolding, Denmark Mar 5, 2008 Bottle. [thank you, myrup!]
Deep hazy pale yellow golden. Big, frothy white head. A little lacing. Wonderful aroma, very grassy and lots of fruit. Grapefruit, citrus and light pine. Not much malt apparent. Medium carbonation and light mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly sweet at first. Then lots of dry, bitter hops expand nicely. Grapefruit, tea leaves, pine. Fresh, dry and very American. Good Ølfabrikken... plovmand (1589), Helsinge, Denmark Feb 14, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy golden with white head. Lots of hops in the aroma. Surely american. Grass and citrus. The usual stuff from the IPA’s. Dry flavour with lots of bitterness with notes of grapefruit and slightly malted. Adenila (931), Denmark Dec 27, 2007 Great intense hob aroma, with huge amounts of americans hobs giving it a grape, citrus and rasin aroma. Flavor is very dry and of course bitter. Great IPA the way i like them, and worked well at a christmas lunch where the dark brews get too heavy later on.
