Bottled. An unclear orange-amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet with a stinging note of spices among them coriander, but also a note of soap water. The flavor is sweet wheaty with strong notes of spices, coriander and lemongrass, but also some soapwater, leading to a dry wheaty finish, where the alcohol shows up with a slight burn in the throat.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of Grovlam. Hazy, pale golden with a lively, off-white head. Aroma of yeast and spices with a floral touch. Medium body, sweetish, floral notes, a little yeastiness and vitamin flavours with the finish showing lots of alcohol. A rather refined and sophisticated brew - kinda like a strong Saison really. 191207

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a huge semi lasting/fizzy off-white head. Aroma is soft coriander, orange peel and wheat, quite soft and inviting. Flavour starts soft fruity with clear wit like flavours, coriander comes seconds later to the orange notes and provides a spiced citric flavour to th very mild wheat malty base. Ends citric with a mild bitterness. Very lovely wit, I clearly feel the christmassy about this brew but I’m puzzled about combining this to any traditional danish Christmas dish (goes great to homemade pizza), a great belgian wit though.

Bottle. Unclear medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, moderate hoppy, orange, coriander, camomoliflowers. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to lively. (031107)

Bottled (thanks Fonefan & SHIG). So I ended up with two bottles of this due to SHIG throwing in some extras with a Rulles Jean Chris Nr 1... HAzy golden colour, with big foamy white head, that disappears quite fast. Leaves some lace. Aroma is very spicy and yeasty along with some herbal notes. Flavour is fruity, yeasty and quite herbal. Note very exciting, and the finish gets some really earthy/mouldy notes along with the yeast and herbal notes.

Bottle. Hazy yellow coloured with a solid white head. Very spicy aroma of white pepper, fruits and herbs. Spicy flavour of white pepper, fruits and herbs. Too much pepper for me.

Bottled (Pikkulintu)
Slightly hazy orange color, steady small white head. Grassy, leathery, a bit sweet nose. Flavor has vanilla, caramel, some malts, a bit grainy. Low bitterness. Sweetish dessert beer. Quite one-dimensional.

It’s hazy golden with a huge, white, lasting and creamy head. The aroma has sweetness and notes of coriander, oranges, apple and basement. The flavour has sweetness, notes of fruit, coriander, oranges, apple and a touch of damp basement. I find it too sweet, the alcohol is a bit bothering and IMO it’s too heavy as a wit.
