Bottle, bought @ SuperBrugsen, Bramdrupdam. Pours a great hazy yellow golden. An equally pretty and nice frothy white head that leaves lots of lacing. Aroma has lots of yeast and camomille - a generally wonderful floral touch. Great creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is powerfully spicy with lots of wheaty sweetness. Coriander and camomille is absolutely perfectly balanced with the vinious edge and general sweetness. Fabolously fresh Christmas brew - this should certainly be repeated in 2008.

Bottle. Pours a light, cloudy yellow. Quite foamy and bubbly. Very good flowery flavour - citrus, elderberries and cloves. Christmas in a bottle.

Bottle. A very interesting witbier but not very christmas like. The chamomile works very good with the coriander and orange.

(on bottle)Damn, this is a fine beer. That full mouth of foam, but just to the limit. Has a very nice complex taste in turms of spicing, love that camomille herbyness and the coriander/orangepeel just fitted my pumpkin soup, loaded with ton of burnt lemon, ginger and thyme. Especially the orange peel lingers in the finish. The high alcohol lies on top of every sip and makes it a warm autum drink.

Flaske.Dejlig witbier hvor de ekstra procent virkelig bliver brugt til noget fornuftigt. Klassisk farve og duft, og smagen er som den skal være bare kraftigere. Et kraftigt bid slutter en rigtig god oplevelse af.

Tasted 2007-12-13. 2007-version. Pours cloudy, light yellow with big, creamy, white head. Kinda looks like snow is covering this beer. Aroma of alcohol, banana, flowers and coriander. Flavours of banana, vanilla, yeast and alcohol. Despite the taste of alcohol, this is a very accessible beer. It’s an odd christmas beer, though. Feels more like a summer beer, but it does keep you warm!

Hoegaarden de Luxe. Great witbier! Spicy but yet very refreshing due to the generous amounts of orange peel. Not very X-mas like but it goes well with chocolate.
