| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 30, 2009 Pours a solid chocolate brown with a nice swirly lacing on top that lingers. The aroma is excellent: Initially of ground high-quality coffee, then licorice and dark chocolate come through, with a little alcohol on the nose. Flavor is again of chocolate and espresso, very creamy (a nice touch) with just a hint of fruit (red berry?) and sweetness. Mouthfeel is creamy, a little sticky, with a modest but appropriate amount of carbonation. A great experience from pour to gulp here. Very hearty, very round, and very satisfying. Overall, excellent to world class. kappldav123 (1886), Markkleeberg, Germany
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 22, 2009 Small 0,33l can, looks good. The beer in the glass deep black like oil, nice head. Starts mild, roasty malty, a bit smoky, not too dry. Finish much drier, a bit prickly-scratchy, but not too much. Very drinkable porter. Thanks to HenrikSoegaard for the beer! Could drink this all the time

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 13, 2009 Bomber, split four ways. Waited a long time to try this! Reminiscent of liquid dark chocolate on the pour – viscosity and all – with a quality cream-brown head. Aroma is of espresso, dark chocolate, and peat. Flavor starts with espresso, a luxurious, roasted coffee bean flavor. Palate stays velvety throughout, not too thick as to swallow the apparent flavors. Finish fronts smoky, roasted qualities with bitter chocolate that complements nicely. This is an excellent beer, and worthy of its accolades on RB. DiabolikDUB (144), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 12, 2009 Poured from bomber into snifter.
Pours oily black with a beautiful one inch mocha colored head that dissipates in to an oily looking extremely thin layer. The smell is dominated by roasted aromas with some slight hints of coffee and chocolate. The flavors this thing has packed into are delicious. I’m getting a lot of dark chocolate and coffee that are almost mouth puckering. There is a pleasant bitterness, extremely faint, that seems to last. It has a full body with moderate carbonation. This beer is unbelievably smooth and very easy to drink. It is a bit heavy but that wouldn’t stop me from drinking this all night. stobbe74 (714), Denmark
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 8, 2009 Can, 33cl. Pours a dark/black beer with chocolatebrown head. The aroma is licorice, tobacco and roasted. The flavor is likewise icoroce, tobacco and notes of hops. The palate is bold, but a little boring. Overall an average beer, maybe a little above.
