draught at wharf rat @ camden yards: pours a clean clear ice tea brown with a foamy and creamy lasting off white head. aroma is malty with a little roaast and quite sweet i also get very fruity esters almost like a belgian very complex for a brown. flavour is rich and creamy with roastedness and some bitter. hints of alcohol come thru and some chocolate and a great malt backing. excellent beer.

Draught at the Wharf Rat in fells point. Clear amber brown body with small off white head. Mildly sweet hop malt aroma. Malt and nuts on the pallet with a smooth richness. Slight caramel nut malt bitterness towards the end, flavorful! Quaffed this on a hot summer day trudging around Fells point with Death with a K and the wife and really liked it. Looking forward to getting down there again this year.

Clear dark amber body with a small creamy off-white head. The nose is lightly sweet and vinous with caramel and plum. The flavor is lightly sweet with spicy herbal hops, raisins and brown sugar. Medium/full body is soft with moderate carbonation and a warm finish.

Draught in Inner Harbor location: This one pours a clear, light brown color. There was a small off-white head on it. The aroma was a bit milder than expected. There was some caramel malts, as well as a touch of nuttiness. The taste is a bit better. It has a rich, malt taste. There was some nuttiness, as well as some fruits in the background. Not sweet at all. Smooth and well balanced. Nice.

Draft - Pratt Street Ale House (formerly the Wharf Rat). Dark amber, thin creamy white head. Soft toasted nut and vanilla cream tones warm to hints of milk chocolate. Well balanced as warm brown toasty notes ride soft toffee chocolate swirls. A light hop bitterness rounds the malt well. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A well made rendition....

Draught @ The Wharf Rat in Baltimore Brown amber, light head and lacing. Nose of caramel, nice and rich, some hops. It has that vegetal garbagey smell though. The flavor is a little sweet; fruity raisin

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a murky dark amber-brown color with a thin and compact off-white head that burns away steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Sweet caramel malt in the nose along with a bit of citrus fruit. Medium, smooth body with flavors of malt, toffee and mild hops plus some roasty notes. The finish is soft and malty with a sweet aftertaste. Above average overall.
