(cask conditioned at Wharf Rat Fells Point) golden amber with decent head. Mild aroma. Flavor is mild hops and malt. Low in carbonation as expected from a cask.

Big poofy head, clear, darkish gold honey brew. Butterscotch, hop aroma. Diacetyl, gel, light bittering with light citrus notes. Watery and a bit flat. OK, not great.

[Cask at the Wharf Rat, Baltimore] A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and rather hoppy. The flavor has a delicious fresh light citrus note on a crisp malt background, leading to an end with a good bitterness, but the body is a bit thin.

Draught @ The Wharf Rat in Baltimore Golden amber color, nice head and lacing. Nose of fruity musky rot, bright hops and a bit of sweet caramel. The flavor is fairly bland, typical hoppy bitterness and malt. Finishes tinny, a bit more funky. Infected?

Draft... RBSG2006... Clear amber ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Faint aroma of toffee. Malty, fruity flavor. Delicately sweet, but decently bittered. Honey and toffee. Medium-bodied with soft carbonation. Lightly bitter, dry finish.

(Cask) Pours a clear amber body with a medium-sized creamy off-white head. Creamy and malty with a bitter finish. Excellent example of a English bitter.

Bitter, yet mild. Hoppy, but malty. This is a great bitter for anyone not seeking an ESB, but a real best. FYI, this is the same beer that Bertha’s sells as Bertha’s Best Bitter.

Hand pumped. Slightly hazy, bronze appearance with a small, but lasting, head that left a lot of lacing. Smooth, malty, modestly hopped taste. Reserved aroma, more fruity and flowery than hoppy. Medium-bodied with little carbonation. Mild, bitter, dry finish. My favorite domestic bitter so far. Consistently well made; an excellent session beer.
