The aroma is sweet with light notes of berries - I find to too light. The flavor is sweet with quite a lot of lemon, but also light notes of berries as well as hints of wood towards the end, which is bitter and hoppy. Nothing special. argo0 (6987), Washington DC, USA

Lightly fruity nose with barely a rumor of molasses. The flavor pulls up just short of medium bitter and is a touch tangy. Medium-bodied with a faintly creamy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Grapefruity, coarse finish. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 2, 2009 On tap @ Wharf Rat. Pours a mostly clear orangish copper body with a small tight bubbled light beige head that retained as a thin film. Slightly sweet nose with just a touch of butteriness. Mostly toasted and some toffee maltiness. No hops noticeable. The diacetyl carries over into the flavor too much for my tastes. Quite buttery with toasty malt and some light fruitiness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a bit of a slick stickiness on the finish. Moderate fizzy carbonation. Overall, not so good. Only had about 2 ounces of this one. badlizard (2385), Berkeley, California, USA
